The Watford Constituency  The constituency comprises the whole of Watford Borough Council, together with five wards from Three Rivers District.   Two of the Three Rivers wards, Carpenders Park and Oxhey Hall, are to the south of Watford town and include mostly prosperous commuter villages. The remaining three, Abbots Langley, Langleybury and Leavesden, are to the north of Watford and include the large village of Abbots Langley which is more mixed in character.   ...

Members’ Meetings happen once a month at the Trade Union Hall, Woodford Road, Watford (just near Watford Junction).

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month. Reminders are sent by e-mail a few days beforehand.

If you haven’t been along before, please think about coming in the future. They are a good way to get involved, to
know what’s going on, and to voice your opinion on local and national issues.

Labour's Shadow Chancellor Alistair Darling responded to George Osborne's claims today that the government’s economic policy is 'fair' and 'progressive'.


More unanswered questions from Liam Fox - Bob Ainsworth

Bob Ainsworth MP, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Defence, has responded to Liam Fox’s speech today on cuts to the Armed Services at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors saying:

“Today we had more unanswered questions from Liam Fox. He still can’t tell us how our nuclear deterrent will be paid for – but maybe that’s unsurprising as George Osborne seems to be calling all the shots.
